These are solid wood shaped by the civil war minie ball.  They are about 5 inches high and 2 1/2 inches in diameter.

They are currently available from the Longstreet and Coster's Brickyard Trees.  Newer tree models are walnut and may be shaped like the Federal minie Ball or the Confederate Gardner round.  All are engraved.
These holders are approximately 4 inches by 2 inches by 1 1/2 inches.  All come engraved with the specific tree's name.
The Executive's Pen represents the hallmark in writing and gift giving.  It is available in roller ball and fountain pen models and is accented in 22kt gold bands and Swarovski Crystal in the clip.  Both this pen and the one confort style pen below are from Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address Witness Tree - the honey locust tree in the National Cemetery, Gettysburg.  Lincoln gave his immortal address from near this tree.  Both style pens come with a rosewood box engraved with Abraham Lincol's silouette (see below) and each pen is numbered and limited to 500 pens of each model.   President Obama recieved the first pen in this series.

Bit of History is a unique  blend of battle and battlefield.  The bullet comes from the civil war and its base is from the witness tree.  Size is approximately 5 inches by 1 inch square.

This is the Longstreet Tree in winter before nature claimed in by storm.  Pictured in the background in the Snyder Farmhouse.

A Reproduction Limited Edition

A maximum of  only 5 desks will be made from each location or witness tree making these a very exclusive opportunity.
Desk clocks are approximately 8 inches by 10 inches high and 2 inches deep.  They come with a high quality quartz clock insert that is 3 1/2 inches in diameter.  Lens is glass and battery is included. Each is either branded (shown) or laser engraved.
These ornaments are from Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address Witness Tree only.  They come with either a brass hook or with twine and are laser engraved.  A great stocking stuffer!
Size varies from 2 1/2 inches to 4 inches.
Campaign Chair
General Robert E. Lee's Field Desk is a reproduction of his original desk, used during the Civil War.  The original appears above and is located in the Gettysburg Museum.  The reproduction requires over 120 hours to make and comes in either oak and walnut.  All measurements are within 1/8 of an inch of the original.

The desk comes in two parts.  The top has 10 cubbyholes and 2 shelves and a pull out door.  The writing surface locks in the upright position.  The bottom has a pull out door as well.

Minor variations in internal measurements  increase the strength of joinery.  The original desk had to be repaired several times due to these weaknessess.
These chairs were very popular in the early years of the Civil War.  The rigors of campaigning took their toll and by 1863 most had disappeared to be replaced by the folding cloth chair.  Size when open is 28 inches high by 20 inches wide by 15 inches deep.
Collector's Corner

This section of items is designed for those collectors of Civil War related artifacts and keepsakes.  These items are all branded with the location or specific witness tree from which the tree came.
Rifle Display Holders - Wall Model
Rifle Display Holders - Table Model
Display your prized civil war rifle in either a witness tree or a newer battlefield tree rifle holder.  These racks hang from two alligator clips and are designed to show off  either a Springfield or Enfield rifle.  Size is approximately  44 inches long by 8 inches high by 5 inches deep. Felt tabs are provided to protect the weapon from marring.
Perhaps wall space is limited and a harvest table or long table is available for displaying that prized keepsake.  The table model is designed to maximize exposure and measures 36 inches long by 4 inches deep by 7 inches high.  Felt tabs are provide to prevent marring.
Carbine Display Models -
Wall and Table Models
Carbine displays are similar to both the wall and table rifle display models.  They are proportionatley smaller but constructed in the same manner.

The wall model is 39 inches long by 8 inches high by 5 inches deep.

The table model, shown below, is 22 inches long by 4 inches deep by 6 inches high.  Felts tabs are again provided.
Sword Display Holders - Wall Model
The sword displays are designed for the cavalry sword.  Both the wall and table models have two slots, one for the sword and the other for the scabbard so that each can be appreciated.  My personal holder, made in cherry is displayed below to show the beauty of the display.  Size for the wall model is 44 inches by 7 inches by 5 inches deep.  Felt strips protect the item from marring.
Sword Display Holder - Table Model
The table model is constructed exactly like the wall model with the holders mounted on a flat  base similar to the rifle display table model.  The size is adjusted to 32 inches long by 5 inches deep and 5 inches high
Bookcase and Bookshelf
Many variations to the rifle and sword holders are possible.  For example, you have an infantry straight bladed sword, the holder would come with a single slot as the scabbard is leather and should be displayed with the sword inside the scabbard to protect the scabbard.  We do custom work on these variations.
Display your prized first edition books in an appropriate setting.  these works deserved to be shown in cases and on shelves made from battlefield wood.   Our standard bookcase is 23 inches wide by 9 inches high and 8 inches deep.  The bookshelf is 23 by 7 high by 9 inches deep.  Shown prices are for those standard models.  Wider custom models would be appropriately more expensive.
Artillery Shell Holders and
Coffee Mug Holders
Keep that artillery shell from rolling around your desk and falling on the floor.  Display it on a holder, made for the shell.  We have on hand Archer 6 lb shell holders, 12 lb Napoleon, 24 lb Napoleon, Schenkl, Reed, Hotchkiss and 10 and 20 lb Parrott holders (shown below).    Size is 6 icnes by 4 1/2 inches by 1 inch.  The Schenkl is 2 inches thick.  The parrott holder can by modified with a cork pad inserted into the base to accommodate coffee mugs.
Longstreet, Coster's Brickyard, Wheatfield and Buford Witness Trees only.
Unique Gifts
These are the odds and ends or the knick knacks that do not fit into a specific category.
The jewelry box comes felt lined in a variety of colors.  The top detaches and allows you to store your valuables in one place.  The box also can be used on a coffee table for those items easily lost, like the remote controls!  Size is 10 inches by 6 inches by 3 inches high.
Your  forefathers deserve better than the plastic bag provided by the Veteran's Affairs or a plain pine flag box.  Honor them with a Witness Tree flag case.   The cases come in 2 sizes.  The larger one is for the funeral flags (5 ' by 9 1/2')  or the standard 6' by 10' flag.  The smaller case is for the 3' by 5' flag sometimes received at retirement
Frame your marriage license or other special document  in a witness tree frame. Standard frame is 8 inches by 10 inches. Postal regulations do not allow it to be mailed with the glass.

Custom frames are available.  When ordering do not forget to include space for any matting.  Provide the internal measurements from wood side to wood side.  Frames will have a 1/4 inch inset

Refrigerator Magnets
These magnets affix to all magnitized surfaces.  They come in a variety of shapes to include round and like that shown.  They also come with a variety of laser ingraved images on the disk.  On hand are Federal General's Meade, Reynolds, Hancock, Buford, Confederate Generals Lee, Longstreet, Stuart, and Colonel Chamberlain.  They are approximately 2 1/2 inches across.
Bottle Stoppers
These witness tree items come with gold to prevent tarnishing and silicone gaskets to ensure a tight fit.  They are approximately 5 inches in length.
Gavel
Our most unique gift was started by a request from a Federal Judge, who is a Gettysburg fan.  He asked for a gavel and I suggested that while it may be inappropriate for the courtroom, this idea would look terrific on his office bookshelf.  Great gift for the retiring public official or one who needs to keep unruly board members in their place.  Approximately 10 inches in length.  The minie ball is about 2 1/2 inches in diameter. The tree's name is laser engraved on the gavel.
