Battle of Gettysburg Chaplain Howell Witness Tree Display
This 8" x 12" x 1" display contains an engraved 2" x 2" piece of the Chaplain Howell Witness Tree that was harvested in 2005 due to disease. Two other sycamores from the same era still stand today. The display also includes a 2011 Lincoln quarter and an authentic minnie ball. The graphic at the bottom is a photograph of Lincoln's procession from the Wills House on the Center Square of Gettysburg on the way to dedicate the new national military cemetery on November 19, 1863. In the center is text that describes the photograph and some details about the tree. The display case is made of a faux leather display board with a clear plastic face.
