General John F Reynolds, USA, Oak Witness Tree Inlay Ring
Gettysburg Sentinels crafts products from the oak Witness Tree where Reynolds died on July 1, 1863. The tree fell during a summer storm in 1987. Some of this wood was secured by the Civil War Round Table of Gettysburg, and Gettysburg Sentinels acquired all of the remaining wood from the organization in fall 2023.
All of our products include documentation related to the tree.
Stainless Steel: Known for its strength, resistance to corrosion and ease of cleaning.

The wood used in our rings is stabilized to the extent possible, however, the wood is often centuries old and may contain internal distress points. We recommend that the wearer limits contact with liquids to the extent possible. Never submerge your ring as the wood may begin to deteriorate.
Over time the skin oils will darken the color of your ring. We invite you to return your ring to Gettysburg Sentinels for cleaning and polishing. We offer this service at no charge for the life of your ring. Simply return it to our Gettysburg Studio.
Ring orders may take up to two weeks to complete.
Gettysburg Sentinels warrants our rings for a period of one year from the date of delivery. Our warranty covers any material failures with the exception of damage caused by liquids. To submit a warranty request simply send an email to greg@gettysburgsentinels.com. Please include an explanation of the issue and include supporting photographs. If the warranty request is approved a return label will be provided.
There will be a $25 fee applied for rings returned due to incorrect size in your original order. We strongly recommend having your size measured by a professional jeweler so we can make your ring perfect.
Clean and polish your ring with Scratch-FREEE™ Polishing Wax, a non-toxic blend of premium oils, waxes, and superfine abrasives. This is the final polish used to finish our rings.
