Battle of Falling Waters
The Battle of Falling Waters collection is handcrafted from wood reclaimed from an English walnut Witness Tree that once stood at the Daniel Donnelly House, whose trunk still stands today. This home was located within Confederate entrenchments during the battle and served as a field hospital, where General J. Johnston Pettigrew was brought after being wounded. Each piece preserves a tangible connection to this significant moment in Civil War history, honoring both the soldiers and the land where it unfolded.
