General James Longstreet

Gettysburg Sentinels crafts products from wood reclaimed from an oak Witness Tree along the southern end of Confederate Avenue, which observed Gen. Longstreet’s troops as they prepared for the intense assaults on the Peach Orchard, the Wheatfield, and the Round Tops on July 2, 1863. Each handcrafted piece carries a tangible connection to the battlefield and includes full documentation of the tree’s history.
