General John Reynolds
John Fulton Reynolds was one of the Union Army’s most respected commanders, killed instantly on the morning of July 1, 1863, while directing troops at the Battle of Gettysburg. His death was a profound loss to the Army of the Potomac and to Pennsylvania, where he remains deeply honored through monuments and memorials across the battlefield.
Gettysburg Sentinels crafts select products from the oak Witness Tree at the site where Reynolds fell. The tree stood through the battle and later fell during a storm in 1987.
