South Cavalry Field
The South Cavalry collection is crafted from wood reclaimed from a walnut Witness Tree that once stood along Emmitsburg Road, south of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This tree bore witness to multiple Union cavalry engagements against fortified Confederate infantry on the afternoon of July 3, 1863. Each handcrafted piece preserves the memory of these historic moments, offering a tangible connection to the courage, strategy, and intensity of Gettysburg’s final battle day.
